Degree Programs On Offer
Domuni proposes a complete curriculum in Philosophy, Theology, or Religious Sciences in 3 years (for a Bachelors), 5 years (for a Masters), and 8 years (for a Doctorate).
The 3-year Bachelor’s program offers a solid and balanced education.
The 2-year Master’s program gives one license to teach.
The 3-year Doctoral program can be undertaken after successful completion of the Masters.
An Education Customized to One’s Own Pace of Study
The structure of university life at Domuni permits one to complete different degree programs at a pace of study that works for each student, according to any personal or prefessional responsibilities that may constrain their time and availability. The years are counted as academic years, and not calendar years, so that a student can complete an academic course of study at a pace that best suits them. This means, for example, that a student can take more than three calendar years to complete one academic year of study.
Accredited Diplomas
The unique quality of a Dominican online university is to offer degrees awarded simultaneously by two different accrediting-bodies : the State of France and the Vatican.
The Domuni Bachelors and Masters programs are offered in two formats so as to best meet the diverse needs of our students :
· A LMD in Philosophy and a LMD in Theology (State diplomas)
· A Bachelor’s and Master’s curriculum in Religious Sciences (Vatican diplomas)
These two types of accreditation permit Domuni to respect the motivations and respond to the needs of each particular student.
Requirements for Admission
For the Bachelors : no pre-requisites
For the Masters : a previoulsy-awarded Bachelors degree
For the Doctorate : a previously-awarded Masters degree
Graded Evaluations Required to Obtain a Degree
Semester final exams are written out in a licensed testing center located close to a student’s place of residence. Individual course evaluations are comprised of written assignments (final papers) in both the Bachelors and Masters programs, and a final thesis is also required for successful completion of the Masters program.
Graded Evaluations required to Obtain a Certificate or Complete a Formation Program
Evaluations for certificate- and formation-programs are carried out in the form of written assignments (final papers).
